Struts, xdoclet, jboss and cmp
I’ve found a number of good tutorials on Struts available on-line. Similarly there are a few good CMP-2.0 tutorials. However I’ve yet to see something that covers it all.
In my week of unemployment I’m going to build a struts application using jboss & xdoclet. Something simple, probably an internal phone directory or something. I’ll mostly be doing this to get the hang of xdoclet and to try its struts support (which looks very nice). Over the next few weeks I’ll expand it to use CMP and CMR (making maximum use of xdoclet).
However, I figured, as I do it I might as well write up my notes into something a little more formal.
I wouldn’t expect anything amazing, but I’ll definitely try to make it useful. If anyone has some tips or pointers to existing documents I’d be keen to hear from them.
UPDATE 2004-03-01: I never actually wrote this tutorial, however I did build the application. The best way for you to get started with Struts and xdoclet is AppFuse. CMP and CMR are very heavy weight and you should probably look at Hibernate

I am a beginner to both JBoss and struts. So far I can get JBoss work for template, but not sure about how to make it work struts. I am wondering if you can share with me the configuration of struts in JBoss. Thanks in advance.

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

I am also a beginner to both JBoss and struts. So far I can get JBoss work for JSP files & servlets, but i couldn’t find any good tutorials that help me to work with struts & jboss together. I would be happy if you ccould suggest me some nice tutorial that can be downloaded for struts in JBoss. Thanks in advance.
