My gentoo server is now doing nothing except NAT. It’s a bit of a waste but given the proximity of the Fedora Core 1.0 release, I don’t want to go through the hassle of running on a temp server while I do the upgrade.
The mail migration went smoothly. Postfix was easy to configure, dovecot didn’t need any configuring, and squirrelmail was simple.
Apache was even easier, I just rsynced the docroots, and rewrote the configuration files.
PostgreSQL was simple. pg_dump MovableType | psql -h NewServer MovableType.
Samba and nfs were just a matter of copying over the config files and restarting the services.
