Got proxy server woes?

I’ve been having a lot of problems getting anything working from behind my employers proxy server. Basically it requires NTLM authentication and the user agent to be very specific (a version of IE, various plugins etc.) . This ruins your day if you’re trying to use Eclipse’s plugin updates, cygwin net installers, RSS aggregators, XML-RPC blog posters etc. etc. etc. etc.

Thanks to the magic of Python there’s a Funky little piece of software to solve this problem. It sits in between your PCs and the target proxy server and translates normal Proxy requests to MSFT NTLM ones.

A million thanks to Dmitry Rozmanov!!
