MIDP 2.0 development for the Nokia 6600

I’ve been looking for a nice Java phone for quite some time, however every time I lined up a phone for purchase, nokia would announce a new model. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a Nokia 6600. I love this phone.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, the whole reason I purchased a java phone was to write my own software for it. However I’ve had some difficulty getting started as there seem to be few ‘get going quickly’ resources for Java developers looking to get started with MIDP 2.0. To try and help out, I’ve decided to write a few blog entries covering this topic. I’ve created a new category, MIDP 2.0

My intention is to cover the full process I go through as I learn MIDP development and get everything up and running using the nokia tools, eclipse and other Open Source java code. As with all the categories on Koz Speaks, this one has an RSS Feed and an index.

If you find anything interesting here, or wish to correct me. Please leave a comment or email me.
