The Real IBM
There’s quite a bit of discussion around this story of IBM’s modus operandi which appeared on blogspot, and k5. I’ve worked with IBM on numerous occasions at several large companies on a variety of large projects.
I can honestly say, it’s completely accurate.

Thanks for referencing my article, I really appreciate it. Yes, my exec glommed onto IBM like a security blanket – the great blue hope. They made him so excited with all of their presentations and promises. Of course seven months later he looked more like a marine who just got told that the air support’s not coming. Well, at least not the friendly air support. :-)
