Feed Your Reader 1.5
For those of you running FireFox 1.5, I’ve finally managed to release Feed Your Reader version 1.5. This should work with most of the betas and it definitely works with RC1.
It’s taken far too long for me to get this release out the door, thanks for your patience. In theory the magical update gnomes should automatically upgrade you, but just in case, here’s a link.

Any chance of support for Thunderbird? It looks to be a little difficult though, seeing as how TB doesn’t seem to have any way to subscribe to a feed externally. Probably would require a Thunderbird extension also.

Hi. I’ve installed this in Firefox 1.5 and I can’t get a status bar icon to appear. Is this a known problem?

Looks a good idea – unfortunately it does not seem to work with release versions of Firefox. I am using 1.0.7 (the current release) and it does not work – you get a “won’t work with this version” error message.

I also am not able to see any icon in the status bar. I run adblocer might that be it? I CAN see the orange square icon in the right of the address line – butit points to Add live Bookmark

Hi Koz,
I really like your FYR extension, which I use to subscribe to feeds with FeedLounge.
Apparently, there is a little bug in it, because I can’t subscribe to feeds which have an URL containing parameters. At least the ampersand (&) is not encoded.
Then, when subscribing to the folowing feed: http://www.presse-citron.net/dotclear/rss.php?type=co&post=765
I have in fact subscribed to this one in FeedLounge: http://www.presse-citron.net/dotclear/rss.php?type=co
You can follow the discussion here: http://forums.feedlounge.com/viewtopic.php?pid=3823
Regards,
Nicolas
